Since you opened this post you are going to soon realize this isn't about drama or friction with in a team. This post is about a group of runners who competed together or against each other in high school and united post graduation to form a bond most runners don't have.
This group can be referred to as the Beaver County Young Bloods (BCYB for short). BCYB was made on a whim between two runners who were invited to a race by their High school coach. Even though these runners never competed against or with each other in a official track or cross race they had a coach that kept alumni and current athletes connected. This way runners from the past can keep tabs on their team and supports them. The idea was to connect best runners they competed against and with on in the county. This way on breaks from college they can coordinate meeting times and train together. This would break up the drag of not having teammates from school to run with and make things more enjoyable. It didn't matter weather if they were D1, D3, on different sides of school rivalries, or graduated from college altogether. Everyone invited would be there to improve themselves and have fun with friends. Together they formed a bond that crossed state lines and divisions leading back to their roots and running comrades.
It was realized that the area was lacking a thriving and competitive running group. With the presence of such group people can join and improve themselves while surrounding themselves with support and people to push them to be better.
